More About Us:

INTR°A is a registered charity, based in Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia. Most of its members live in Germany and the Netherlands, but there are also members in France, UK, India and USA. We accompany encounters with and experiences of different faiths by observation, analysis and careful evaluation, supported by theological, historical and educational research. We hold a special library with about 35.000 titles. We deliver each year the INTR°A Award for the Complementation of the Religions for sustainable projects and initiatives in the encounter and communication of religions.

What your Institute/Center can bring to DIN and its members: INTR°A believes that strengthening the openness towards other religions, and theologically deepening it, is a priority, also for peaceful living together. So we think that our experiences in dialogue between various religions and ideologies, which we try to carry out through encounter in communications, discussions and initiatives, may be also interesting for other institutes and centers in various regions of the world, especially the idea of tolerance, reconciliation, equality of religions.

What your Institute/Center hopes to gain from DIN and its members: It will be helpful for us to hear in what manner and under which conditions other institutes work, which are their challenges, chances, difficulties in their societies. Cooperation in projects, conferences etc. will be facilitated too, so that we are included in a growing interfaith network.
